Pre-Kindergarten is an exciting year to explore letters, numbers, books, reading, math concepts, and a variety of special interest units. Since children learn best through hands-on experiences, students will be using group activities as well as centers to learn a variety of new skills.

Meet the Teacher

My name is Beverly Rake and I am looking forward to being your child’s teacher. My husband, Charlie Rake, and I have 5 children. My son is married; my oldest daughter is a teacher in Broken Arrow; my middle daughter attends NSU, and my 2 youngest daughters attend OBU. I have taught elementary school for 18 years, preschool for 4 years, and directed the preschool ministry of First Baptist Church of Owasso for 7 years.  I have a bachelor’s degree in elementary education and a master’s degree in child development.  I love working with young children and viewing the world from their perspective.
